This is what to expect from a First Hearing Dispute Resolution Appointment in court.
It will be the first time the court has heard the main arguments from each party and will expect the parties to try to resolve as many issues as they can between them before narrowing down the core issues that the court will have to decide. The court will then look at dates for any evidence and witness statements and the next hearing.
